Objective To investigate the effect of ultrasound-guided femoral nerve block anesthesia in patients after total knee arthroplasty. Methods 50 cases for total knee replacement surgery in the Department of Orthopedics of our hospital were selected as the research objects, and were divided into experimental group and control group. The control group used intravenous analgesia pump, and the experimental group used ultrasound-guided femoral nerve block. The analgesic effect, the dosage of narcotic drugs, knee joint active flexion and the occurrence of complications between the two groups were compared. Results The postoperative visual analogue score, dosage of fentanyl in postoperative 48 h, knee joint active flexion of the experimental group were significantly better than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P〈0.05). Conclusion The application of ultrasound-guided femoral nerve block anesthesia in patients with knee joint surgery can effectively relieve the pain, improve the function of the knee joint, reduce the dose of the drug, and the clinical effect is significant.
