RAN Yingzhuo's Experience in Treatment of Thyroiditis with Xiaochaihu Decoction

在甲状腺炎的临床诊疗中,以亚急性甲状腺炎及慢性淋巴细胞性甲状腺炎较为常见。冉颖卓教授认为早期对甲状腺炎进行中医药干预治疗,常可控制病情进展。冉教授临证善用小柴胡汤治疗甲状腺炎,强调以肝为本,以和为度,攻守兼具,颇具疗效。举例临床治疗验案加以说明。

There are two common kinds of thyroiditis in clinical treatment,subacute thyroiditis and chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis. Professor RAN Yingzhuo proposes that in the early period,traditional Chinese medicine interventions should be conducted,and the disease progression could be controlled. Professor RAN is good at treating thyroiditis with Xiaochaihu decoction. She emphasizes that liver is the root and harmonization is the basis. During the treatment,attacking and defensing should be applied to obtain the satisfactory effect. A clinical case is listed in the paper.
