集约利用土地是我国在城镇化快速发展背景下建设节约型社会的必然要求。在对国内外城市土地集约利用相关文献进行研读的基础上,梳理和归纳了国内外城市土地集约利用研究进展,指出了我国现状存在的问题和不足,并对未来的发展方向进行展望。

Intensive utilization of land is a key work in building a conservation-minded society under the rapid devel-opment of urbanization in china.Based on the domestic and foreign intensive urban land use literatures,the paper re-views the research advances of the intensive urban land use,and points out the existing problems and shortcomingsof our country.Finally,the future direction of development is prospected.
