摘要
运用共沉淀法制备了锡酸锌包覆云母(ZS/Mica),然后以硅烷偶联剂(KH550)/石蜡(KP)或KH550/癸二酸(KS)改性ZS/Mica,得到2种云母(Mica)基阻燃剂(P-ZS/Mica和S-ZS/Mica),通过X射线衍射仪、扫描电子显微镜和能谱仪对产物进行了表征;通过替代溴锑阻燃体系中的三氧化二锑(Sb_2O_3),探讨了Mica基阻燃剂在阻燃聚丙烯(PP)中的应用。结果表明,ZS包覆在Mica表面;当P-ZS/Mica替代50%的Sb_2O_3时,阻燃PP样品的阻燃性能维持不变,而力学性能有较大改善;替代后阻燃PP样品的断裂伸长率、冲击强度和弯曲强度分别提高了55%、32%和30%;Mica基阻燃剂部分替代Sb_2O_3后,阻燃PP样品的热稳定性增加,燃烧时热释放速率峰值无明显变化,而烟产生量明显降低。
The encapsulated mica with zinc stannate(ZS/Mica)was prepared by a coprecipitation method,and then the resultant ZS/Mica was modified by KH550/paraffin wax and KH550/sebacic acid to form two types of mica-based flame retardants(P-ZS/Mica and S-ZS/Mica).X-ray powder diffraction,scanning electronic microscopy and electron energy spectroscopy were conducted to confirm the successful encapsulation of zinc stannate on the surface of micaparticles.Such micabased flame retardants were used to replace Sb_2O_3 in bromide-antimony flame-retardant polypropylene(PP)system.The results indicated that flame retardancy of the flame-retardant PP maintained unchanged but its thermal stability increased when half amount of Sb_2O_3 was substituted by P-ZS/Mica. However,the elongation at break,impact strength and flexural strength of the flame-retardant PP increased by 55 %,32 % and 30 %,respectively.Moreover,the flame-retardant PP also showed a little change in peak value of heat release rate but gained a significant reduction in the amount of released smoke.
