This article describes the six steps of the engineering design planning. It explains how to track the completion of the design plan from ordinary session of design and design documentation,and clarifies tracking features of progress and quality of design document. Then describes the means to control the design plans from both the progress and quality. Proposes the difficulties of design plan management and countermeasures.
