硅质岩是一类特殊的沉积岩,与一般的碎屑岩不同,其形成和生物活动,火山活动等密不可分。本文在大量阅读国内外文献和资料的基础上,详细论述了硅质岩研究的发展和现状。就文献、资料内容,对硅质岩进行了成因分类,详细论述了各类硅质岩的特征。同时介绍了判别硅质岩成因的地球化学特征以及方法,以达到对硅质岩成因跟进一步的认识。

Siliceous rocks are a kind of special sedimentary rocks, which are different from the general clastic ones. The formation of which is inseparable with biological and volcanic activities. In this paper, based on the extensive reading of domestic and foreign literature and materials, development and current situation of siliceous rock research were discussed in detail. The characteristics of the siliceous rocks were discussed, too. At the same time, the geochemical characteristics and methods of determining the genesis of siliceous rocks were introduced to further understand the genesis of siliceous rocks.
