Roles of the SCO in Future Afghan Peace Process

阿富汗和平进程是一个包括政治和解、军事停火、经济社会重建在内的系统工程,而上合组织是唯一集政治、经济、能源、安全为一体的综合性地区组织,其职能与阿富汗和平进程所需高度契合。乌法峰会启动扩员进程后,上合组织与阿富汗的地缘联系将更为紧密,使其在推动包括阿国内政治和谈、缓和巴阿关系、反恐以及经济重建在内的和平进程中具有更强的现实动机。

The Afghan Peace Process isa systematic project which includes political reconciliation,cease-fire and economic reconstruction. And the Shanghai Cooperation Organization （SCO） is the onlyregional organization with comprehensive functions that are highly compatible with the Peace Process.With its expansion initiated, the SCO has become more geo-politically connected with Afghanistan, thusforming stronger incentives to facilitate the peace proces.
