中美安全工程专业研究生教学体系比较分析与优化探讨

A Comparative Analysis and Optimization Strategy on the Graduate Students' Teaching System of Safety Engineering in China and United States

摘要 通过比较中美两国安全科学与工程专业硕士研究生教学体系,有助于我国借鉴美国研究生教学体系和培养经验,实现我国安全工程研究生教育与国际接轨。首先,以中国矿业大学为例,分析我国安全工程硕士生课程设置及研究方向;其次,以美国西弗吉尼亚大学为例,介绍美国安全管理硕士研究生教学体系和科研现状;然后,通过比较分析,找出中美安全工程专业在研究对象、课程设置、培养目标、研究方向等方面的差异;最后,建议我国安全工程研究生教学体系增加通用方法论、工业卫生、医学以及心理学等类课程的设置,注重研究生生源的安全管理工作经验和其他专业教育背景。 A comparative study of the teaching system of postgraduates in China and the United States(U.S.)on safety engineering is conducive for China to learn from the experience of American postgraduate teaching system and training.A result makes engineering education of postgraduates in China geared to international standards.Firstly,this article takes China University of Mining and technology as an example to analyze graduate students’ curriculum and research orientation in safety engineering in China.Next,it introduces the teaching system and scientific research situation of masters in safety management in West Virginia University.Then,the article finds out the difference in research object,course setting and training objectives of safety engineering between China and United States.And finally,suggestions to optimize the reform of the teaching system of master’s degree in safety engineering are brought forward.This development includes curriculum increases,such as general methodology,industrial hygiene,medical science and psychology.It also puts emphasis on working experience in safety management and relevant professional education background of the graduate students.
