摘要
近年来,国内关于英语词重音习得的实证研究大都使用产出测验作为研究工具,鲜少采用听辨测验。为弥补此不足,该项研究结合听辨和产出两种测试手段从单词重音位移角度考察中国大学阶段英语学习者单词重音习得情况。实验受试按照其英语水平被分为高级、中级、初级三个水平组。实验结果显示,中国大学生中介语体系中的词重音位移现象具有一定的特点:无论是在产出测验还是听辨测验中,受试将重音位移至第二音节的频数最高;而听辨测验和产出测验显示的其他词重音位移规律却大相径庭,这表明学习者的词重音感知和产出机制大有不同。另外,通过分析不同水平受试在产出测验和听辨测验中的成绩,发现受试的中介语水平对其感知和产出能力的影响不一,即受试的词重音听辨能力随英语水平的提高而增长,但其产出能力却并未因水平的上升而有显著提高。
This paper investigates the English word stress misplacement in the interlanguage system of Chinese college students at diferent profciency levels (i.e., advanced, intermediate, preliminary) through perception and production tests. The results show that there are certain laws for Chinese college students’ word stress misplace-ment, that the subjects’ perception mechanism of the word stress and that of production are quite diferent, and that the profciency level exerts diferent efects on the subjects’ perception and production of the word stress. It is thus suggested that teachers combine the training of both skills in their teaching to realize the goal of perfect acquisition of English word stress.
