As a kind of classical model of decision making under ambiguity,the Iowa gambling task is often used to simulate the decision behavior under uncertainty in the real life.With the deepening of the research,the task paradigm as a clinical diagnostic tool has been widely used in clinical field.Using the Iowa gambling task as the starting point,introduce the application in the areas of schizophrenia,Parkinson＇s syndrome,substance dependence,eating disorders and other areas.We look forwards to serve as a reference to other clinical areas,and point out the limitations of the task paradigm as well as the future prospects.We enable researchers to be actively concerned about this area.
