It is fundamental in fostering the four skills of English listening, speaking, reading and writing, and it＇ s essential in the whole process of English learning. Therefore, vocabulary teaching is vital in College English teaching. In this passage, we will make a brief discussion about the enlightenment of mental lexicon in college English vocabulary teaching.
