摘要
探讨从词源学的角度教授大学生英语词汇,使学生更有效地掌握词汇,提高学生文化素养、跨文化交流能力,驱动学生的英语学习兴趣,提高大学英语教学效果。
Large and complex English vocabulary is a major barrier for Chinese English learners to have a good command of English. Teaching vocabulary from the perspective of Etymology is aneffective way to convert the current predicament by enhancing the interest, efficiency, communication abilities of English learners.
