摘要
本文报告了贵州少数民族地区高校凯里学院179名非英语专业学生在英语阅读中使用各类元认知策略的情况。结果显示:学生使用元认知策略的整体水平不高,大多数学生是有时使用该策略,最常用的是选择注意策略,最不常用的是计划策略;不同阅读能力的学生使用元认知策略的整体水平有显著差异,阅读水平越高,元认知策略的整体使用水平也越高;阅读能力中、高组在选择注意和监控策略上没有显著差异。
This article subjects are 179 non - reports the frequency of metacognitive strategies use in English reading. The English majors in Kaili University, a university of minority areas in Guizhou. The study revealed that the general level of metacognitve strategies use in English reading is not high, and most of the students in the survey report an occasional use of the strategies in question. Second, a- mong the four categories of metacognitive strategies, the category of selective attention is most used while the planning category rates the least used. Thirdly, the study shows that students of different reading abilities use the overall metacognitive strategy in a significant different level. Students of higher reading ability use the overall metacognitive strategy more frequently. And the result also shows that there are no significant difference in the use of selective attention and monitoring categories between the students of high level and medium level in reading ability.
