“Rule of Virtue” still Exists under “The Severe Punishment”——The New Discussion of “Rule of Virtue” for Emperor Ming Taizu

有关明太祖是"重典治国"抑或"以德治国"的问题,因诸史料记载各异,故未有定论。纵览史学界,大部分学者都倾向明太祖主张"重典法治"的治国思想。然通过对现存相关史料的客观分析,考察明太祖具体的治军理政,言明太祖治国方略中"德治"思想占据相当比重更符事实。

The question of whether the Ming Taizu is tend to＂The severe punishment legal＂or＂rule of virtue＂has not been determined because of the different records.In the historian circle,most scholars tend to Ming Dynasty advocated＂severe law＂thoughts.However,through objective analysis of the existing historical materials,this paper investigates the specific military governance of the Ming taizu,and shows that the ideology of＂rule of virtue＂in the statecraft of the state of Ming dynasty has a significant proportion of the facts.
