An Analysis of the Differences Between Western View and Marxist View of State

西方国家观与马克思主义国家观的差异主要体现在三个方面:国家起源的逻辑基点不同,一个是社会契约论,另一个是历史唯物主义观;国家的本质属性不同,一个是具有中立性或非中立性,另一个是具有阶级性;国家的走向不同,一个是修正,另一个是消亡。马克思主义国家观与西方国家观差异的根本原因在于它的科学性、深刻性、实践性和时代性。

Western view and Marxist view of state are different in three ways. Firstly, the western view on the origin of state is based on social contract theories, and the Marxist view historical materialism. Secondly, for western view supporters, a state is neutral or non-neutral, and the Marxists believe that it has a class nature. Thirdly, the western view requests correction of the capitalist system, and the Marxists argues for the eventual extinction of states. The fundamemal reason for the differences between the two views of state is the scientificity, profundity, practicality, and modernity of the Marxist view.
