在学术与政治之间——以《文史哲》的历史变迁为个案

Between Academy and Politics:A Case Study of the History of the Journal of Literature,History and Philosophy

在我国高校社科学术期刊发展史上,《文史哲》作为一个典型模本,既见证了当代中国高校社科学术事业的风雨变迁历程,又映射出新中国成立以来学术与政治相互纠葛、影响与约制的复杂关系。坚持学术的独立性,保持期刊的独特风格和气度,在此前提下,探索、提炼和锻造公共学术话题,以自由讨论和百家争鸣的方式,回应现实社会政治需求和意识形态关切,进而在学术史上扮演一个更加积极、主动、自觉的角色,应当是六十余年来《文史哲》处理学术与政治之关系给高校社科学术期刊的启示。

Having been deeply participating in and even leading the major trends of Chinese humanities during the past 6 decades, the Journal of Literature, History and Philosophy （JLHP） has witnessed the struggling process of contemporary Chinese humanities. Since the JLHP was founded in 1951 when the People＇ s Republic of China was at the age of two, this journal has shared great opportunities to grow with the new country, and so has become a specimen which can typically reflects the complex relationship between academy and politics in this new country. From its 60 years＇ experience of managing the relationships between academy and politics, some principles can be deduced from the history of JLHP. A journal must persist in academic independence and find its own style and quality, based on which it should try to search, summarize or even create significant topics, and provide them to the academic community to be freely inquired and debated on. Only when a journal can continuously throw influence through its topics to the macrograph concerns thriving in social political or ideological domain, may it take a positive and self-conscious role in the history of academy.
