摘要
"传统"和"现代"的关系不仅贯穿于五四新文学自身发展的各个阶段,而且生动地阐释着五四新文学与传统国学的复杂关系。将传统国学与新文学置于"传统"和"现代"的关系下来审视不仅能更好地看到新文学、新文化发生发展过程的必然性、复杂性和丰富性,更重要的是在中华民族不断走向复兴的今天,能够更好地思考我们为何要弘扬传统、怎样弘扬传统?又该如何对待现代、如何面对发展?王富仁先生提出的"新国学"理论构想认为应该将五四以来的"现代"文化纳入到国学的范围当中,这绝不是标新立异,而是反映了王富仁先生对于传统与现代关系的独特见解和对五四新文学研究在当下能否进一步拓展空间的深刻反思。
The"tradition"and"modern"interactions in the past one hundred years not only have influenced the different stages of the May-Fourth Movement literature,but also representatively accounted for its complicate relations with traditional Chinese learning.In fact,to inspect it from both perspectives can better observe the inevitability,complexity and diversity of the occurrences and advances of the New Literature and New Culture,and more importantly can prompt us to think about ways to renew and carry forward the relevant tradition in the new era.Mr.WANG Fu-ren argues the advantages of putting the"modern"culture after the May-Fourth Movement into the research scope of traditional Chinese learning.This is not something intentionally eccentric;rather,it embodies his extraordinary understanding of the relevant issues and profound thinking of the relations,which have significant theoretical and practical values.
