摘要
光纤续接时,横向偏移对耦合效率的影响非常显著,为了降低光纤续接对横向偏移的敏感性,提出了新型有方向性锥形通信光纤连接器。采用了沿信号传输方向的锥形结构,从而提高其可靠性。根据波动理论,对新连接器的纵向传播常数进行泰勒级数展开,得到了锥形光纤功率分布的近似解。分析了锥体长度、锥度以及和光纤折射率等参数对耦合效率的影响。还试制了6个锥形连接器样品,进行了耦合效率实验测量,实验测量结果和理论分析是一致的,从而验证了理论分析的正确性。
The lateral displacement has significant effect on the coupling efficiency of the fiber connecting.In order to reduce the sensitivity of optical fiber to transverse offset,the new directional tapered communication fiber connector is put forward.The conical structure along the direction of signal transmission is adopted to improve its reliability.According to the wave theory,the longitudinal propagation constant of the connector is expanded by Taylor series.And the approximate solution of the power distribution is obtained.After that,the influence of the parameters such as taper and fiber refractive index is discussed.Six samples are produced in the laboratory.And the coupling efficiency experiment is consistent with the theoretical analysis,so that the correctness of the theoretical analysis is verified by the experimental results.
