To find out pathogen of multisystem failure case from a scale pig farm in Zhanhua county, ShandongProvince, the pathogen was diagnosed with porcine circovirus type 3 by polymerase chain reaction diagnosis andsequence sequencing analysis. The diagnosis of this case shows that the area has the prevalence of porcine circovirus 3 and provides a theoretical basis for the prevention and control of the disease in the local epidemicprevention department.
