摘要
高职英语课程一般采取基础英语(EGP)加专业英语(ESP)"二元"设置的课程体系。为解决EGP向ESP过渡衔接的问题,本文从需求分析的角度,根据行业英语的职业性特征,提出行业英语课程可以根据职业岗位群的共性特征和不同专业性特征来进行分级设置,为高职行业英语从EGP向ESP过渡课程的设计提供一定依据。
English curriculum for higher vocational college students contains two types: EGP course and ESP course. In order to solve the problem which students usually find it hard to study ESP, this paper suggested a mid-level curriculum should be designed between EGP and ESP based on Need Analysis Theory. Taking Marine English as an example, this paper suggested the ESP could be classified as general ESP and ESP, and the midlevel curriculum should focus on the general ESP part and help the students to master ESP gradually.
