Urban Utility Tunnel is one of the important Infrastructures and works as lifeblood of the cities. Urban utility tunnel IOTICS, using ＂smart cable＂ based on tunnel mobile communication technique, provides unique, open and completely covered IOTICS platform for urban utility tunnel. Moreover, it has some basic fimctions, such as wireless audio communication, personnel real- time position location, invasion detection and position location and wireless sensor access, and provides more spaces for monitoring, controlling and management, the new application reserves great room for development.
