论拉丁美洲后现代主义文学的独特性

On the Uniqueness of Literary Postmodernism in Latin America

拉丁美洲后现代主义文学相较其他国家和地区呈现其独特性。本文紧密结合拉丁美洲地区的历史进程和历史状况,从多角度展开对拉美后现代主义文学独特性的讨论,认为因其历史进程和文学传统之使然,拉美国家对待后现代主义多采取温和型态度,又因其独特的区域性,其后现代主义文学具有明显的政治性、历史性和多样性等特征。该文学不是对欧洲和美国后现代主义文学的模仿,没有明确的现代主义和后现代主义的界线,故而构成了一种与其他国家不同的后现代主义文学。

Postmodern literature in Latin America, in comparison with other countries and regions, has its unique qualities. Considering the historical development of Latin American countries, this article argues that Latin American countries have fos- tered a great tolerance towards postmodernism mostly due to their histories and literary traditions, and that the regional variety of Latin America determines tat its postmodem literature is as pluralistic as it is political and historical. Hardly emulating the postmodern literature of Europe or the United States, and often blurting the borderline between mod- ernism and postmodemism, postmodern literature in Latin America has developed into a unique literary trend specific to this region.
