第一套人民币是成熟的钞票设计产品,是新中国货币的"开国元勋",在设计思想、设计题材、艺术手法上堪称后来四套人民币的鼻祖,明确了民族化的设计指导思想,具体设计上已经呈现出民族性和原创性的重要特色,一些设计题材甚至被后来四套人民币所继承或体现;设计理念先进,三大构成等现代设计理念和手法已经渗透在产品中。
