船舶减排是业内一个经久不衰的主题。11月7日,法国达飞海运集团宣布,其订造的9艘22000TEU超大型集装箱船将使用液化天然气(LNG)作为主要燃料,电站也以LNG为燃料,仅需要少量的船用燃油在气缸内点火时使用,主机将采用中船集团全资的WinGD公司发动机。此举象征着超大集装箱船进入了LNG动力的新时代。
With official implementation of Tier III emission rules and new ship energy efficiency design index (EEDI), there are even higher requirements for energy saving and emission reduction of marine low-speed engine. Ships develop towards greener and more environment- friendly direction, marine machine manufacturers' exploration and R&D have been working well for years in addition to shipowner, designer and builder.
