With the national economic development entering a new normal, and in the context of the world energy landscape adjustment and the oil price chill, the oil and petrochemical industry is facing in-depth structural changes. In the implementation of reforms to drive industry transformation and upgrading and improvement of efficiency, an issue of vital importance is how to further improve the capabilities of staff. The paper analyzes the main problems in the basic skills training conducted by oil and petrochemical companies, and proposes a set of ways and methods for strengthening and improving training in this respect.
