As the most recognized and representative designer in Japan during the 20 th century,Taku Satoh has made numerous great designs ranging from packaging design and product design to curation which are concerned with multiple fields of designing. In the aspect of packaging design,he contends that the design between men and objects should be realized through the very subtlety of the design itself. For product design,which aims at practicability,it is important to envision the experiencing processes so that the principle of the design can be duly conveyed. To answer how to design,he resorts to the progresses brought by autopsy on design in order to enable more people to comprehend and feel design,and also to understand the deeper meaning behind. Hence,it is beneficial for us to learn from his unique way of thinking and his curiosity which drives him to the end of understanding of designs.
