The optimal path for the combination of plant tissue culture course and the theory of multiple intelligences was explored to guide the teaching reform. Multiple teaching methods and strategies were established, provided students with more opportunities of autonomous learning. Through taking example by the theory of multiple intelligences students＇ balanced development of the theoretical knowledge and actual specification operation was cultivated, students＇ learning interest and confidence were improved.
