他者介入自我的方式是偶然,他者开启了存在的多种可能性,他者对于自我的意义是不确定的。他者对于自我起着既解构又建构的作用。自我犹如一个熔炉,将各种外来之物冶炼成自我之构成部分,因而他者的开启作用并未使自我由此变为他者。他者作为异在,对于那个具有强大引力的自我中心起着牵引作用,从而免得发生引力坍缩,使自我变成一个黑洞。他者存在的原因在于视域的有限性和存在的整体性。他者为自我提供了异质的生命营养,是生命活力的来源。他者并非只存在于外部,自我自身也有他者存在。他者是自我召唤而来,有什么样的自我,就有什么样的他者。他者是主体性的非主体性存在,是非主体性的主体性存在。

The way of the other that involves in ego is contingency. And the other opens various possibilities. The significance of the other to ego is uncertain. And the other plays dual function of deconstruction and construction to ego. Like a furnace, the other fuses the exotic things as the component parts to ego. Thus the opening function of the other doesn't make ego change into the other. As a different form, the other plays the tractive effort to the strong egoism which results in the gravitational collapse that makes the ego become a black hole. The reason of the existence of the other lies in the finiteness of horizons and the globality of existence. The other provides heterogeneous nutrition for ego and it is the source of life vitality. The other does not really come from the outside world, but exist in ego itself. What kind of ego means what kind of the other. The other is the existence of non-subjectivity of the subjectivity and the existence of subjectivity of non-subjectivity.
