村寨既是少数民族的主要聚落形态,也是民族文化赖以发展与传承的生活空间与民族特色文化资源的主要载体。随着少数民族村寨对外交往的日益扩大,村寨传统体育文化功能的正在发生变化,其表现主要是日益向着交融性、参与性、艺术性、观赏性和娱乐性等方面演变。因此,进一步对玉溪市少数民族特色村寨传统体育文化特征及功能的演进进行研究,其意义深远。

Village is not only the place of residence for most ethnic people,but also the space for carrying on and developing their ethnic cultures,and the treasure house of their cultural resources.As exchanges with the outside world increase,the functions of traditional sports culture in villages are changing,and the trends are toward integration,participation,artistry,performance and entertainment.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to further study the cultural characteristics of traditional sports in villages with ethnic features in Yuxi and the change of their social functions.
