Based on the application background and development practical and experience of computer aided design （CAD） software system for woolen sweater technology, a new woolen sweater technology CAD software system was designed and developed. The overall design idea and development principle of software system were discussed in detail, including the general framework, main function, software flow chart and the implementation method for main function of the software system. This software system has advantages such as easy operation, integrity of func-tion, strong practicability, and its output technology is in line with the actual production, which has important im-plications for the development of such kinds of software.
