摘要 人文教育有三重价值:能使人更"像人"、更理性、更智慧、更自由。人文教育是形成学校高尚而深邃的文化之基本成分,是促成社会健康与活力的活水源头。民办高校因为各种"先天不足",导致在指导思想方面存在严重的事功主义和唯市场的功利教育观念,在教育内容方面存在重专业轻素养、重科技轻人文的纯粹职业化倾向,在教育效果方面出现了人文知识欠缺、人文素养缺失的现象。要改变这一现状,民办大学自身需要淡化"民办",凸显"大学",即按照"大学"的规律办学。这包括要重视人文教育,树立全面育人的办学理念,增设人文课程,科学课程中实现科学教育与人文素质教育的结合,加强人文环境的建设、人文精神的培育和人文传统的形成。 Humanistic Education has three important values: a tool for cultivating a person into a more rational, intelligent, and free man, a basic element of forming a noble and profound school culture,and a source of promoting social health and vitality. Born with "congenital deficiencies", private universities are guided mainly by ideology of utilitarianism and market-oriented utilitarian education concept. They also tend to focus on profession and technology rather than quality and humanity. As a result, students from these universities lack humanistic knowledge and quality. To change this situation,private universities themselves need to highlight functions of being "a university" instead of "a private university". This means they must be running according to the law of the "university", which includes valuing humanistic education, establishing a comprehensive education concept, adding humanities courses,combining the science education and humanistic quality education in science curriculum, constructing a humanistic environment, cultivating humanistic spirit, and forming humanistic tradition.
