COSMIC资料在远洋气象保障中的应用

摘要 利用COSMIC大气主要气象要素廓线资料,经过数据标准化处理、质量控制、数据可视化,使其成为预报员能直接使用的可视化产品,以期改善包括广大海洋地区缺乏实况气象观测资料的现状.通过与再分析资料的对比发现,该资料虽然存在随机性和不确定性等缺点,但其覆盖面广、精度高,能够较好地反映大范围的环流形势和一定区域内的天气系统发展演变,尤其在测站稀少的大洋地区,在可预见的将来没有大范围气象站点布设的情况下,COSMIC资料能够起到部分替代实况观测的作用. Based on the COSMIC profile data of the main meteorological elements, through standardization,quality control and data visualization, make it a visualized product which can be directly used by the forecasters,in order to improve the current situation of the lack of the actual mete-orological observational data in the vast ocean area. Comparing with reanalysis data found that despite the shortcomings of randomness and uncer-tainty, its wide coverage and high precision can well reflect the large-scale circulation situation and the development of the weather system of a certain area. Especially in the ocean, in the foreseeable future without a wide range of meteorological site layout, COSMIC data can play a part of the role of alternative reality observation.
