语篇的评价策略研究——以英语社论语篇为例 被引量:4

A Study of Appraisal Strategies in Editorial Discourse

摘要 基于系统功能语言学的分层理论模型和评价系统框架,从体裁和元功能视角构建的评价策略框架,依靠态度语义三角、加强模式、耦合关系和粒子结构,识解社会秩序危机点和象似性叙述线,实现主观化和客观化概念再语境化辩证修辞;依赖级差量表、饱和模式、元关系和韵律结构,识解聚同化异拓扑化异言团结和隐喻性评价线,实现最大化团结和最小化争议人际团结辩证修辞;诉诸介入语义三角、支配模式、轨道逻辑关系和格律结构,识解认知-社会关系合法化论证空间和符号性论证线,实现前景化和背景化语篇论证辩证修辞,最终揭示社论的可识别体裁地位、区别性语域属性和独特语篇本质。 Within the stratified model of language and social context and the appraisal system in SFL, the appraisal strategies framework, which is constructed from the perspectives of genre and metafunctions, relies on semantic triangle of attitude, intensification pattern, bonding relationship and particulate structure to construe crisis points of social order and iconic lines of narration, to realize ideationally dialectical rhetoric of subjectifying and objectifying recontextualization. It also couches in scale of graduation, saturation pattern, metarelationship and prosodic structure to construe topologically differentiated or affiliated heteroglossic solidarity and metaphoric lines of evaluation, to realize interpersonally dialectical rhetoric of maximalizing solidarity and minimalizing contestation. Simultaneously, it has recourse to semantic triangle of engagement, domination pattern, orbital relationship and periodic structure to construe legitimatized argumentation space of epistemic-social relationship and se- miotic lines of argumentation, to realize textually dialectical rhetoric of foregrounding and backgrounding argumentative organization. Uhimately, this analytic framework contributes to revealing identifiable generic status, distinctive registerial property and unique discourse nature of editorials.
