The Significance, Problems and Perfection of the New Private Education Promotion Law

新修订的《民办教育促进法》,对于确立民办学校分类管理的发展路径、界定营利性学校与非营利性学校的标准、增强民办学校中党的建设、加强对教职工权益的保护和对民办学校的规范与发展等方面具有重要意义.但是,该法还存在一些不足,在实践中应不断探索新的发展思路,进一步完善内容措施.

The newly revised Private Education Promotion Law has important significance for the standardi-zation and development of China＇s private education in a vast field from establishing the development path of private schools classification management, defining the standards of for-profit schools and non-profit school,en-hancing the party construction of private schools, strengthening the teachers, rights protection, to emphasizing the related regulation on private schools to and interests. But at the same time, the new law also has some short-comings such as the prohibition of for-profit private schools in the compulsory education and the relevant provi-sions of for-profit schools, which are still very deficient. These shortcomings need to be gradually improved in the future.
