A Continuation on Study on the Origin and Developmentof Xi’an Dialectism

现代汉语方言词汇的研究是重视两头,即释义和考源.考源多是在古代字书、韵书中寻求,不重视古代文献.本文源流并重,对词在历史上的使用情况作比较细致的考察.资料方面,既利用古代的字书、韵书,更重视古代文献;有的词还分析其得义之由,并注意词的使用与语体的关系.

The study on modem Chinese dialectical lexis attaches great importance to both the interpreta-tions and the etymology. The existing study on etymology comes principally from ancient wordbooks and rhyming dictionaries rather than from ancient literature. This paper analyzes the dialectical words from both sides and made a detailed exploration of the use of words in history in ancient wordbooks and rhyming dictionaries, but more importantly, in the ancient literature. Some words are also analyzed based on their origins and the relation-ship between the usage and stylistic functions.
