Inspiration of the Pareto Principle and Long Tail Theory to Archival Work in Information Age

二八定律是传统经济时代的经典理论,而长尾理论是网络经济时代的创新理论。介绍了两个理论的基本内容和矛盾统一的关系,分析了两者在传统档案工作中的体现,研究了它们对于信息时代档案工作的指导意义,指出了档案开放工作是制约长尾理论发挥作用的关键因素。

The Pareto Principle is the classic theory in traditional economic era, while the Long Tail Theory is the innovation theory in network economic era. This paper introduces the basic content of the two theories and their relationship of contradiction and unification, analyzes the embodiment of both in the traditional archival work, studies their guiding significance for the archival work in the information age, and points out that the archives opening is the key to restricting the Long Tail Theory.
