通识教育以国家、社会需要为理论建构的出发点,以培养全面发展人才为目的,在中医药高校,只有通识教育和专业教育平衡发展,并在发展中不断融合,才能培养出合格的中医药人才。当前通识教育较弱,通识教育与专业教育的融合也比较生硬,只有更新教育理念,加强通识教育方面的师资投入,才能促进通识教育的健康发展,进而提高中医药高等教育的质量。
