余秀华:一棵稗子提心吊胆的春天

脑瘫致使余秀华在学习、生活和工作上都变得十分艰难,以至于她感觉自己就是一棵夹杂在稻田里的"稗子",但是,也正是脑瘫将余秀华从庸常的语境中挽救出来,使其特立独行,敢想敢说,而为中国留下一位诗人——虽然这个诗人未必长久光耀大半个中国诗坛。稗子"提心吊胆的春天"的暗喻揭示出诗人内心的焦躁、恐惧与痛苦,折射出现实社会的无比残酷。好在诗人的痛苦还是得到了大多数人的同情,人们将她拥到了神圣的诗坛上,这棵稗子终于变成比兰花还要珍贵的奇葩,超然独立地绽放在中国乃至世界诗坛。

Cerebral palsy has thrown Yu Xiuhua into such a difficult situation for her to study, make a living and work that she feels like a barn grass mingling in a paddy. However, it is her disability that saves her from mediocrity and makes her a maverick and plainspoken poet in China, though she may shine for a very short time.The metaphor of 'nervous spring' for a barn grass reveals the anxiety, fear and misery in her deep heart and reflects the cruelty of the society. Luckily, most people express their sympathy to Yu' s misfortune and support her to come closer to the divine world of poetry, making this grass become a treasure more valuable than an orchid,blooming poetry circle of China and even of the world.
