The absence of humanistic knowledge may affect the development of the innovative ability ofEnglish major students. National Standards of Teaching Quality for Undergraduate English Majors puts forwardspecific requirements for the cultivation of English majors’ humanistic quality. Under the guidance of NationalStandards of Teaching Quality for Undergraduate English Majors, the author explores the effective ways ofteaching reform in humanistic knowledge course, so as to further promote the teaching reform of English majorand improve the teaching quality of English major.
