与子同仇:中西复仇文学比较——以《基督山伯爵》《连城诀》为例

A Comparison between Chinese and Western Revenge Literature——Taking the Count of Monte Cristo and Lian Cheng Jue as an Example

在中西文学作品中,对于复仇情节的描写不可计数。法国作为传统的西方国家,继承与发展了古希腊的文化传统。19世纪中叶,法国作家大仲马的代表作《基督山伯爵》则将复仇的故事推向了一个新的高度。200余年后,一代武侠大师金庸先生亦留下了一个关于复仇的故事《连城诀》。这两部作品是中西通俗小说中的经典之作。从这两部小说的对比中可以看出,在中西文学作品中对于"复仇"这个主题,所展开的文本叙述与思想观点的异同之处。

I n Chinese and Western literary works, the descriptions of revenge plot are countless.As a traditional western country, France inherited and developed the cultural tradition of the ancient Greece.In the middle of the nineteenth century, the Count of Monte Cristo, the masterpiece of the famous French writer Alexandre Dumas, pushed the story of revenge to a new height. Two hundred years later, the martial arts master Jin Yong also leaves a story about revenge, Lian Cheng Jue. These two works are the classical works in Chinese and Western popular novels.From the comparison of the two novels, we can see the similarities and differences on the text narrative and the ideological point of viewsbetween the Chinese and Western literature.
