信息时代下英语专业口译技术能力的培养

Cultivation of English Majors' Technical Interpreting Competence in the Information Age

随着信息技术的快速发展,当今社会的口译环境发生了巨大的变化,已经由过去传统的单纯依赖译员的模式转向了"人机交融"的新型模式,技术能力已然成为现代译员必需的能力之一。因此,我国英语专业的口译教学必须重新定位,转变畏惧技术的教学观念,建立衔接性好的课程群体系,根据口译技能的特征合理增加口译技术的教学内容,并通过课堂、网络、校外三大教学平台有效训练学生计算机应用、计算机辅助翻译、术语管理和信息检索四大技术能力,培养信息时代下适应市场需求的技术型初级口译人才。

With the rapid development of the information age, the social environment of interpretation has changed greatly, transforming from traditional modal which centered on the interpreter to a new modal which requires the interpreter properly using relative technical equipment. Thus, technical competence has become a necessity of modern interpreters. In order to cultivate students' technical competence of computer application, computer-aided translation, terminology management and information retrieval and to make them meet the modern market demands of interpreters, the interpreting teaching for English majors in China must be reformed by changing stagnant teaching ideology, establishing well-connected curriculum system, adding relevant content of interpreting technology and adopting the teaching platforms of the classroom, the internet and the off-campus internship center.
