从延安民族学院到中央民族大学,从抗日战争时期到今天迈入中国特色社会主义新时代,中央民族大学作为中国共产党扎根中国大地办教育的成功典范,始终以服务党和国家民族团结进步事业、服务少数民族和民族地区发展为己任。新时代,中央民族大学将以党的十九大精神为指引,不忘初心、牢记使命、砥砺奋进,努力建设成为世界一流、国内唯一的"双一流"民族高校,成为国家民族团结进步事业的理论基地、人才摇篮、智库平台,为党和国家的民族工作提供思想、智慧和人才支撑。

Originated from Yanan Minzu Institute in the period of Anti-Japanese War,Minzu University of China,as a successful model of education of the Communist Party of China rooted in China ＇s land,has entered a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics today. It has always taken on itself the responsibility of serving the cause of national unity and progress of the party and the state,and serving the development of ethnic minorities and ethnic regions. In the new era and under the guide of the spirit of the19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the university will remain true to its original aspiration,firmly keep the mission in mind,and make sheer endeavor to build MUC into a world first class Minzu university,the only double-first class Minuz university in China,as well as a theoretical base,cradle of talents and think tank platform for the cause of national unity and progress of the state so as to provide thought,intelligence and talent support for ethnic work of the party and the state.
