摘要
英语是大学的重要公共课程,其学科教学在教育界一直备受关注。但是,许多学生在大学学习英语的目的都是为了通过四六级考试。然而,大学英语对学生的综合能力要求比高,所以许多学生既没有学习英语的兴趣,也没有学好英语的信心,导致大学英语的整体教学效果不理想。本文从大学英语学科及学科教学特点不利于学生建立英语学习自信心的维度进行分析,并就提高学生自信心建设进行探讨。
English is one of the most important public courses in Universities. And it's subject teaching receives much attention. But because most students aims at passing CET -4 or CET- 6, influenced by this, teachers are likely to ignore the cultivation of the comprehensive ability of students during the subject teaching. Thus most students are neither interested in English learning nor have confidence in learning it well. So the overall teaching result is not ideal. This paper analyzed the factors that are not conducive to students'self- confidence, and discuss how to improve students'self- confidence.
