To summary the research condition of Swertia mileensis by retrieving relevant literatures about chemical compounds and pharmacological effects,written by domestic and overseas scholars in recent years.The chemical ingredients isolated from Swertia mileensis mainly contain three terpenoids,iridoids,ketones,lipids,glycosides and alkaloids.Which have favourable biological activities in some fields,such as anti-HBV,liver protection,and so on.
