一代“船王”卢作孚的乡村教育思想与实践探析

The Exploration and Analysis of the Thoughts and Practices of Country Education by Lu Zuofu

卢作孚是我国著名的实业家、教育家和社会活动家。综观他的一生,爱国主义成为他的人生信条,善于思考使他绝处逢生,而与时俱进更是让他生生不息。二十世纪二三十年代的乡村是教育家、实业家的阵地,而卢作孚,独辟蹊径,为实现"现代化"的目标,开创了"以经济建设为中心,以交通建设为先行,以北碚城市化为带动,以文化教育为重点"的乡村建设活动。本文试图在了解卢作孚思想与实践基础上结合时代背景,对卢作孚的乡村教育思想与实践进行系统的梳理,同时为新农村建设和乡村教育问题提供一些思考。

Lu Zuofu is a famous industrialist, educator and social activist in China. Throughout his life, patriotism was fundamentally prevalent in the journey to achievements. Possessing a great mind which stood him out from the rest, he made some astonishing acts, which all still echo in a limitless time space. In the 1920s and 1930s, the rural areas of China were the working fields of ed- ucators and industrialists. However, Lu Zuofu made his very own attempt to realize the goal of modernization by creating rural construction activities in perspective of ＂taking economic construc- tion as the center, traffic construction as the first priority, and Beijiao urbanization for the lead, with culture and education as the key ＂. To shed some lights of understanding Lu Zuofu＇s thoughts and practices, this article attempts to enhance a systematical view of Lu Zuofu＇s ideas and practices of rural education inherently based on time background, which would contribute with some reflec- tions on the new rural construction and rural education.
