This paper analyzes the current difficulties and challenges China's manufacturing industry is facing, points out the weak capacity of independent innovation and structural contradictions are the main bottlenecks, puts forward some ideas that to reshape the new advantages of manufacturing industry requires placing the enhancement of the capability of independent innovation in the first place, promotingthe transition of innovation strategy from imitation-tracking to the leading the leap, promotingthe innovation and design to lead the manufacturing in China towards creation in China, constructing the social innovation ecosystem of "public business, mass entrepreneurship and innovation", and creating a enterprise ecological environment with symbiosis,prosperity and sustainable development.
