大街小巷是中国城乡从传统到现在重要的公共活动空间,但线状形态对于行为活动有一定的制约。文章通过对街巷的线型与尺度、可达性与开放度、柔化边界空间、塑造空间层次等方面的研究,提出提升街巷公共性,营造具有活力的外部空间的设计方法。

The Street is from traditional to now most important public space of China, but its linear form for activities has certain constraints. This article discusses the street＇ s line style and scale, space accessibility and openness, soften boundary space, and shape of dimensional administrative levels etc. aspects, upgrading the streets＇ publicity, create a dynamic design method of the outer space.
