回辉话的内爆音：对音法类型学和演化音法学的意义

Implosives in Huihui Language: Their Significance for Phonological Typology and Evolutionary Phonology

本文描写并讨论回辉话内爆音的语音性质及其变异情况。通过测量口腔气流、口内气压、VOT、VTT、基频和振幅的变化,认为回辉话的内爆音属于一种强内爆音,跟海南话的内爆音属于同一种语音类型。本文还发现回辉话内爆音的随机共时变异:前喉塞清爆音、喉塞音、张裂声。这样的变异使得我们能够建立起张声的内部交替,张声与僵声的交替,以及张声与清振演化圈的连接。

This paper describes and discusses the phonetic characteristics and variations of the implosives in the Huihui language spoken in Hainan. By means of measuring the oral airflow, intraoral pressure, VOT, VTT, fundamental frequency, and amplitude, it is found that implosives in Huihui belong to the fortis implosive which is of the same type with that attested in Hainan Min dialect. It is also discovered that the synchronic variations of the implosives in Huihui include preglottalized voiceless stop, glottal stop, and Disrupted Fortis Voice. These variations allow us to establish the internal alternation of the Fortis Voice, the altemation of the Fortis Voice and the Creaky Voice, and the connection between the Fortis Voice and Voiceless-Voiced Circle.
