Understanding and Maintaining the Party's Core Leadership

党的"领导核心"是历史和人民的选择。当前,认识和把握党的"领导核心"需要认真思考和切实弄清党的"领导核心"的历史由来、形成依据、基本内涵、能指所指、决策机制、权力交接等基本问题,以免产生思想偏差和认识误区。维护和巩固党的"领导核心"需要正确认识和处理领导地位与领导权威、职务权威与信任权威、集体领导与分工协作、党内民主与人民民主等重要关系,将其有机结合,实现其良性互动和辩证统一。

The Party's core leadership is the choice of the history and the people. At present,full understanding of the party's core leadership require us to carefully reflect upon and obtain a clear understanding of its origin,basis of formation,basic connotation,signifier and signified,decision-making mechanism,and power transition,and avoid bias and misunderstanding. To maintain and consolidate the Party's core leadership,we need to correctly understand and handle the relationships between the leading status and leading authority,authority from duty and authority from trust,collective leadership and coordinated distribution of responsibilities,inner-party democracy and people's democracy,etc.,and achieve their organic integration,benign interaction and dialectical unity.
