Abdominal trauma is a usual emergency in the general surgery.With the development of society,the traffic accident and fall injury have become chief causes of abdominal trauma.Abdominal trauma still was a great challenge because of the complexity and difficulty,especially in the trauma of liver;pancreas and duodenum.Along with the development of medical science,more and more new techniques;concepts and strategies were applied in the abdominal trauma.Focused assessment with sonography for trauma is the important tool for prompt screening and diagnosis of abdominal trauma.The abdominal enhanced computer tomography is the ＂ Golden Standard＂ of the imaging,which plays an important role in the diagnosis;assessment and treatment of abdominal trauma.The damage control surgery and damage control resuscitation are the core concepts and strategies in the treatment of abdominal trauma,especially in the severe cases.
